Anticipated games I think will end up sucking

Let me preface this by saying I don't ever wish a video game (or video game system) to suck. However for this list, while I am looking forwards to some of them myself, I think (for various reasons) will end up failing to live up to expectations.... well more than usual anyways because what game lives up to expectations (except maybe Uncharted 2). I may make a follow up post explaining some of my choices in more detail, but for now here is a list to discuss if you agree or not. Also in the next day or two (actually probably later today after I wake up) I will make a list of games I think will be sleeper hits.

Alan Wake - I've been back and forth on this game, but when Remedy Entertainment shelved the PC version, I knew too much has gone down to distract from decent development.

UFC Undisputed 2010 - I am a huge MMA fan, been so since UFC 1. While Undisputed 09' was a breakthrough for MMA and fighting games in general, it is looking like its going to be Madden-like in terms of minor upgrades when a game in this genre needs to move full steam ahead. EA's MMA game is shaping up to blow them out of the water in the gameplay department.

Halo: Reach

Final Fantasy XIII - Some say its the most linear FF game yet... However I think FF Versus XIII will surprisingly wind up being some people's favorite FF game yet.

Fable 3

Blizzard's new MMO

Starcraft 2 - I know I will get flamed for this one. I will be picking it up on or near release day like most people, but I have this horrible gut feeling it isn't going to be anywhere near as good as expected. I really hope I'm wrong on this one.

Gears of War 3 - First 2 games were good, but another bad gut feeling. I think the 3rd will wind up being the weakest.

Splinter Cell: Conviction - Maybe I'm going schizophrenic but this one will also go on my sleeper hit list. I've been thinking this was going to wind up the best in the Splinter Cell series, but these delays have me wondering if they are scrambling to fix a plethora of problems. Also note that plethora doesn't indicate many but rather a variety so it could be a few and not a lot.... I have a feeling its a plethora of many problems though. Not sure if that's a correct sentence, but who cares.

Well, flame away, praise away, whatever you desire.... Whether you hate this list or not, I figure most of you should find a new found interest in upcoming games you may or may not have heard about in my next post.
